How to properly cut a child's hair with scissors at home? How to cut a baby's hair with a clipper at home How to cut a child's hair

Previously, you yourself dealt with the locks falling on your forehead and covering your ears, and it is unlikely that your child would allow someone else to manipulate his hair. But the baby is growing up, and the hairstyle requires professional care.

Overgrown strands get into the eyes, forcing the baby to make bizarre head movements to get rid of the interference. In the summer, Panama hats and scarves helped you out, under which your regrown hair was so well hidden. But perhaps it's time to get your hair in order. However, it is completely unknown how the child will react to the fact that he will have to sit quietly in a chair, while scissors will flash around his head in the hands of a master of his craft, but completely unfamiliar to him.

To prevent your baby from becoming capricious and stubborn when he finds himself in an unfamiliar situation, you need to prepare in advance, taking into account the child’s behavioral characteristics. And, of course, tell him in detail about what will happen in the hairdresser, and what will be required of him to make the trip successful.

To the hairdresser in my mother's footsteps

Do you have a favorite stylist whom you have been going to for years and who understands you perfectly? Should you contact him with your baby? This largely depends on how fashionable or reputable the salon you are visiting. If you are sure that your child’s behavior will not cause dissatisfaction among other clients and will not put you in an awkward position, feel free to take him to a specialist you trust. True, it is worth asking in advance whether he has ever cut the hair of small children.

Residents of megacities can easily find a salon that specializes exclusively in children's haircuts. But the simplest solution may be an ordinary hairdresser in your area, where they will always find time for you and probably work with masters who have experience in communicating with very different clients, including the smallest ones. It would be great if this hair salon has video screens and chairs that rise to the desired height. If not, you can bring a few of your baby's favorite toys and books to help distract and calm him. Some children constantly fidget and fidget in the chair and even try to run away, others freeze tensely, afraid to move, but in any case, for a child, the first trip to the hairdresser is an exciting event that even requires some courage.

Virtuoso technique

To reduce your time in the hairdresser's chair and avoid the risky step of washing your hair in the sink, wash your child's hair at home. Then the hairdresser will only moisten clean hair. If you feel that your child is uncomfortable sitting on a stack of telephone books or uncomfortable in a chair that is too big for him, sit him on your lap and tell him about what the hairdresser is doing and how wonderful the result will be.

Usually a haircut lasts no more than fifteen to twenty minutes. In any case, it will be difficult for the baby to “hold out” longer.

Some kids begin to panic when they see cut strands on the floor. In young children, the sense of their integrity is still fragile and not very stable, so they prefer not to part with what belongs to them. Be sure to - better in advance, before arriving at the salon - explain to your child that hair grows constantly and needs to be cut from time to time so that it does not interfere. Be sure to reassure your baby that his curls will grow back very soon. Emphasize that he will get his hair done like an adult, that all people go to a hairdresser where they get beautiful haircuts. Your exclamations of admiration will greatly delight the baby (and also the hairdresser). The child will be happy to look at the new haircut in the mirror, filling himself with self-respect. There is something to be proud of here - after all, he has taken another step into the world of adults. As a souvenir of such a significant event, you can take with you a strand of hair, which you put together in a box.

To get started - haircut at home

Are your convincing arguments in favor of going to the hairdresser met with desperate resistance? Perhaps the baby’s fears are too strong and he is not yet ready for a new experience. In this case, it is worth inviting a hairdresser to your home: in a familiar environment, it will be easier for the child to trust a stranger. Having passed the first test with honor, your child will probably react more favorably to the offer to go to the hairdresser.

If the baby is capricious on the very day when you planned a trip because he is not feeling well or is not feeling very well, cancel the plan. Wait until he is in a good mood. If your child is wary of everything new, first let him stay nearby during your haircut. Just the fact that the child knows in advance what the hall looks like will help him feel more comfortable when the crucial moment comes. And soon he himself will demand a visit to the hairdresser, considering that his hair does not lie well enough. And you will be happy to support his desire to look fashionable and stylish.

One of the important stages in a baby’s life is his first haircut. It is exciting and, as it were, marks the child’s entry into adulthood. How to cut children's hair is a question that all parents think about. After all, not every child is ready to sit without moving for some time.

Time for baby's first haircut

This is usually the main reason for disputes between the baby’s parents and the older generation. Why - after all, the answer to the question is purely individual?

There are several signs according to which it is necessary to cut a child’s hair for the first time at a certain time:

  • one of the beliefs goes like this: if you cut a child’s hair too early (for example, before 1 year), then his entire future life will be associated with illness and grief or poverty;
  • another version of the same sign speaks of the age of 3 or 7 years;
  • The modern generation of grandparents is inclined to believe that a child should be cut for the first time at the age of 1 year, while all weak infant hair is removed, and new thick hair grows well.

In fact, this question still remains open, and only parents can decide when exactly to cut their baby’s hair for the first time. The main thing is to remember that many children have thick and long hair from birth, and they do not need any haircuts, while others, on the contrary, have weak and thin hair, and it will remain that way for the rest of their lives, despite the number of haircuts.

How to cut a child's hair?

This question needs to be thought through in advance. In the modern hairdressing industry, there are a large number of different types of haircuts, even for kids.

For example, you can consider several options for solving the question of how to cut children's hair.

  • If the hair on a child’s head grows quickly enough, then it is worth cutting his bangs and the back of his head every few months. Then they will not interfere with his eyes, and the child will get rid of the prickly heat on his neck.
  • One of the most common haircuts for children per year is a complete shave. It is believed that they are renewed, and from then on they will grow of a completely different quality.
  • As for haircuts for little boys, a shorter haircut at the temples and a longer haircut towards the back of the head is popular.

Place for a child's first haircut

Where is the best place to do this? How to cut a child's hair? This will be done at home or in a professional hairdresser - only the parents of the baby can decide. Typically, the first haircut is performed in the comfort of your home in order to reduce the stress of the procedure for the child. But when the baby gets older, you can turn to experienced professionals.

The main thing, as child psychologists say, is that the child must understand that cutting a haircut is an absolutely painless process that will ultimately lead to a beautiful result. Now there are a large number of specialized children's hairdressing salons, where your children will be well taken care of, distracted, entertained in time, and eventually given back to you with a beautiful new hairstyle.

The situation when cutting a child's haircut

The main thing is to engage the child and explain the essence of the procedure that you need to work on together. You can interest your baby in new or his favorite toys. Cartoons are also an excellent way to distract a child from manipulating his hair. Often, it is with their help that you can force a little fidget to sit motionless for some time. It is important to note that the end result should be a fairly comfortable environment, thanks to which your baby will understand that getting a haircut is not at all scary, but even interesting, and will definitely go through it all again.

Baby cutting tools

How to cut children's hair painlessly for them and without unnecessary nerves for yourself? To do this, you just need to stock up on a little patience and time, and also study the list of tools with which you can create your child’s first hairstyle.

The procedure for a baby's first haircut: what should it include?

Usually, a child’s first haircut is associated with some important event in his life. It could be the baby's birthday or christening day. Then all relatives and close people gather together who are ready to share this joy with him.

And so you decided to cut your baby’s hair. Photos from this holiday should definitely be preserved for life. After all, it will be very interesting to look at them later. You should definitely save a strand of the first cut hair as a keepsake in your baby’s photo album, because over time the structure and color can change dramatically.

So, the main thing is to learn a few simple rules in solving the problem of how to cut children's hair. It’s worth playing hairdresser with your baby before getting a haircut using his favorite toys. At the end of the procedure, you need to bring him to the mirror and show the result. Be sure to praise and maybe even reward your child, especially if the process was too exciting for him. It would also be good to set an example with your own hair by taking your child with you to the hairdresser several times.

Cutting a child's hair every year is a tradition that unites, perhaps, all nations, regardless of religion and place of residence. Signs, superstitions, cutting the hair of a one-year-old baby - all this has smoothly moved into our time from ancient times.

Therefore, few modern mothers and fathers manage to protect their children from such manipulations, carried out under the strict guidance of the older generation.

But more and more often, young parents are asking well-founded questions: is it possible to cut the hair of a one-year-old child, why this should be done, and how the first haircut of young children goes - at home and in a hairdressing salon.

Each nation has its own signs, rituals and superstitions regarding when and how to cut children under one year old and a little older. Let us give the most interesting examples.

  1. In ancient India, a child's head was required to be shaved bald. Followers of Judaism believed that a short haircut symbolizes farewell to a short past and the transition from infant life to childhood.
  2. Mongols still cut children's hair with great pomp, turning this generally ordinary process into a true celebration. The haircut of a Mongolian child (a boy at 3 years old, a girl at 2 years old) gathers all household members and relatives around him. Every guest cuts off a lock of hair and says a good parting word to the child. And, of course, you can’t do without gifts.
  3. Israel adheres to religious customs as strictly as in past centuries. Therefore, even today, many families do not cut the hair of a boy under three years of age. Then a ceremony is held - a celebration with numerous guests, at which the most respected person is the first to cut off a lock of hair. Tourists who come to Israel are surprised to see sidelocks on the heads of little boys - this is also a tribute to tradition.

In Ancient Rus', it was forbidden to cut a child’s hair under one year old, since people believed that it was the hair that preserved the strength and health of the baby. And if you cut them off prematurely, the little one will begin to get sick often and seriously. A one-year-old child was shaved bald, thereby marking his transition to another life.

Our ancestors were worried not only about the child’s first haircut, but also about the question of where to put the cut strands.

They did everything they could with them: they hid them in an anthill, they pushed them behind a fence, they burned them, and they let them run through running water, which, by the way, is what many mothers do in our time.

When Rus' was baptized, a new ritual arose, consisting of cutting hair in the form of a cross. This curious ritual was necessarily performed on the new moon, and it was customary to keep the hair away from prying eyes - behind the image of the saint.

Modern myths and scientific arguments

It would seem that the time for superstitions has long passed. You rarely meet mothers who will roll eggs on a child’s head, hide hair in an anthill or bury it at crossroads. However, some signs are so tenacious that today’s mothers still cannot decide whether to cut their child’s hair a year or not.

These myths sound like this:

  1. If you don't cut your child's hair when he's one year old, he'll have thin hair for the rest of his life.
  2. If you cut your hair bald every year, your hair will grow very quickly.
  3. If you cut the hair of a one-year-old child, then very soon his hair will be thick and thick.
  4. If you don’t wear a hat when walking outside, oxygen will speed up the growth of your hair.

Before we dispel these and other myths, it is necessary to look at hair growth from a scientific point of view. The outer hair is just a dead shaft, while the living part, the so-called bulb, is hidden under the skin. The number of bulbs, the duration of their growth, the shade, thickness and “waviness” of hair are determined by genetic characteristics.

Thus, neither a haircut, nor excess oxygen, nor a vitamin mask will help hair appear where the notorious hair follicles are missing (and walking without a hat can even result in meningitis).

That is, a baby born with thin hair will not turn into a man with thick hair, no matter what the mother does.

It can be noted that babies are born with different “hairstyles”: from a hedgehog to thick curls. All children are united by the fact that they have vellus hair. Then, when they fall out or wear off, coarser, thicker, and darker hair will appear. However, haircut does not affect this process in any way.

Currently, trichologists (hair specialists) are convinced that cutting a child’s hair every year does not bring any benefit, and in some situations can even cause harm.

What are the arguments of experts who oppose compulsory cutting of a child’s hair at one year of age?

  1. It makes no sense. No external measures can affect the formation of the bulb that forms in the hair follicle under the skin.
  2. Deceptiveness. Cutting the hair of a one-year-old child creates the effect of thicker hair, but the truth lies in the fact that the thickness owes its appearance to the uniform growth of hair (cut evenly - hence the optical illusion).
  3. Risk of damage. Cutting with a machine or scissors can damage the bulbs. Awkward movements can pull out developing follicles, which will slow down hair growth.
  4. Inconvenience. Little children do not like to have their hair cut, because after shaving their heads, stubble appears, and along with it, irritation. In addition, a bald head causes discomfort, since the child simply becomes cold.
  5. Possibility of infection. No matter how carefully your mother knows how to cut her hair, you can damage the skin on the head with a clipper or scissors. And any scratch can lead to inflammation when pathogenic bacteria enter it.

So, there is no scientific evidence to suggest that cutting a child's hair every year helps hair grow faster or thicker.

You can cut your baby’s hair as much as possible, justifying this ritual with the opinion of grandmothers, the importance of observing signs, but only proper care and heredity can ensure the beauty of the hairstyle.

So, we found out that cutting a child’s hair a year will not give his hair fullness, thickness and shine in the future. However, many mothers do not care about signs and still decide to get a haircut. Indeed, there are situations when you need to get rid of excess hair on the head. Why do one-year-old children and infants have their hair cut?

  1. You can tell by their hairstyle whether the children in front of you are girls or boys, but this is not always possible if the child is under one or one year old. Some mothers cut their sons' hair short because they are often mistaken for a girl.
  2. You can also cut your child’s hair if his first anniversary falls during the hot summer months. With short hair, it will be easier for him to survive the peak of the heat.
  3. Overgrown hair often disturbs children and mothers, and excessively long bangs can significantly impair a child’s visual acuity.
  4. A neat and well-groomed hairstyle suits everyone, regardless of age. Parents rightly believe that their baby should look as beautiful as they do.
  5. If the little one scratches or injures the head, then it is necessary to cut the hair. You can play it safe and get your hair cut in advance if your child is too curious and sticks his inquisitive nose everywhere.
  6. Many children under one year old develop so-called infant crusts on the scalp, which then disappear on their own. However, in some cases they can cause itching, flaking of the skin, and discomfort, so they are removed. But first, the child gets a haircut for this purpose.

In general, it is better not to cut a child’s hair if a haircut is unavoidable. For the first time, it is quite enough to trim the bangs that cover the eyes, or remove the interfering curls.

It is still better to give a child a haircut for the first time at home, where, as they say, the walls help. A haircut in a salon, of course, is more impressive, but the baby is not yet so old that he needs to “show off”, and no one has yet canceled the whims of small children.

Therefore, a one-year-old child’s hair is most often cut at home, while observing several extremely important rules and conditions:

  1. It is important to choose the right time - you can cut your child’s hair in the morning if he behaves calmly after breakfast. If calm comes to the child only in the evening, then this procedure should be done closer to dinner.
  2. Monitor your child's mood and well-being. If he is sick, then postpone the manipulations. In addition, it is better to get a haircut in a good mood, and not with whims and hysterics.
  3. A small child must be cut by hand; a shaving machine is excluded. This device can damage the hair or seriously frighten the little one. The best option is scissors with rounded edges. As a last resort, you can use a trimmer, which is less noisy and safer than a machine.
  4. Try to create a pleasant environment for your child at home, for example, entice him with an entertaining toy or “yummy snack.” Ask your spouse or grandmother to keep your child busy by showing a cartoon or reading a book. It is best to sit the child on your lap.
  5. Grooming at home should begin with disinfection of tools. Treat the scissors, for example, with Chlorhexidine or Miramistin. If you cut your hair using a trimmer, you should also treat the skin of the child’s head.
  6. A one-year-old child will not like a drawn-out procedure, so try to cut your hair quickly by doing the following:
    • you need to wet your hair with a spray bottle or cut it after a bath;
    • always start from difficult places - where there are long or interfering curls (usually they are located near the ears) in order to have time to do the main work if the baby becomes capricious;
    • pinch the strand between your middle and index fingers and comb it;
    • lower the pressed fingers to the required length and trim the hair with a gentle movement;
    • check how evenly the curls are cut by comparing adjacent strands.
  7. So, the haircut is over, so immediately rinse the child with warm water. All folds on the child’s body should be thoroughly washed. The remaining hairs will prick the child's neck, causing a lot of unpleasant sensations.

Don’t worry, otherwise your anxiety will be passed on to your child, who will also begin to worry and refuse the procedure.

If the anxiety does not subside, invite a children's hairdresser to your home, who will quickly carry out all the necessary manipulations.

Don’t forget to take care of your children’s hair. It is imperative to comb your hair properly in the morning and before bed.

Massage your head, moving the comb first to the right, then to the left, to the back of the head and forward along the hair growth line. Such manipulations will help activate the hair follicles by improving blood circulation.

So, is it necessary to cut a child’s hair before he is one year old or exactly at one year of age? Some parents cut their children's hair because they are true to tradition, follow the advice of the older generation, or believe in numerous superstitions regarding children's hair.

Others refuse to cut their child’s hair, believing that there is a time for everything. If you firmly decide that you need to get a haircut, take into account all the rules and follow safety measures.

HOW TO CHOOSE A HAIRCUT FOR BOYS?

All parents want their child, even while still very young, to look stylish and attractive. The modern fashion of model haircuts for boys provides a wide selection of hairstyles. After all, looking stylish and fashionable is important not only for girls, but also for boys.

1). It is important to take into account not only the child’s hair structure, but also his face type. As we have already said, children still have quite thin hair, so hairstyles that create volume are suitable for them.

2). When choosing a new look for your child, consider the shape of his face. So, a crew cut will look great on a boy with an ideal head shape. Or, for example, a long bob haircut will not look good on a boy with chubby cheeks.

3). You should also choose a haircut for a boy according to his age. After all, on very young boys such fashionable haircuts as a mohawk, “hair tattoo” or cropped temples will look defiant. Therefore, it is better to stick to a simple hairstyle.

To ensure that the child sits quietly and does not run away, there are 2 options; they are not the best for the eyes, but they are reliable.
— watch cartoons, make sure that there is a distance of at least a meter from the monitor or TV;
— play on a tablet or phone.

So the child will sit for 20 minutes, and during this time you need to do a haircut.

More suitable ideas are puzzles, crosswords, board games that do not require constant observation of the field where everything is happening, reading books or listening to audio stories.

Perfect for a boy: “Deniska’s stories”, “Vitya Maleev at school and at home”, Nosov’s stories or stories about Dunno. Finding audio with high-quality voice acting on the Internet is a must.

Anti-stress toys, cats and pandas made from balls and starch, can also help out.

Important before cutting

  1. We place the child on a high chair, preferably with a backrest, otherwise the baby will get tired quickly and will slouch.
  2. The height of the chair should be such that the baby's head is at the level of your hands.
  3. The maximum amount of light is at the window, so that it falls from all sides or is illuminated by lamps or asks him to turn the desired side to the light.

How to start cutting hair for beginners?

If you have never cut a man's haircut, practice, but only after our little training course on an adult guy or man. In this case, the person will sit patiently, which is extremely difficult with a child.

Prepare the tool:

  • typewriter;
  • nozzles;
  • comb;
  • scissors;
  • sheet;
  • chair;
  • spray with water if the haircut is done with scissors;
  • hair dryer;
  • mirror.

Make room for a chair. Make sure the clipper's cord easily reaches the chair and allows you to move around it.

Consider where you will keep your tools so you don't have to run to another room, and place a chair or extra table so you can easily reach them.

The water in the baby spray should be warm. The prepared cape covers the child completely so that hair does not get on the arms or legs.

During the haircut process, if it is not possible to adjust the light evenly, turn the boy to the light with the desired side, asking him to turn around so that he can sit on the chair more comfortably, undress him down to his panties, and put a towel on the chair itself.

After cutting the hair in the shower, it will help get rid of the remaining hair and it will not bite or prick it.

Do not wipe or sweep cut hair, this will make the feeling of pricklyness even greater.

What do you need to know before cutting your hair?

Haircut consists of several stages:

  • Basic haircut by zones, shading - mixing.

    Each zone is approximately equal in height to the width of the machine blade, i.e. Place the side of the machine above your ear - this is the height of the temporal zone. Help yourself with a machine if you are worried that the area will not be level.

    In this case, parting options can be horizontal, vertical, or at an angle.

  • Edging.

Having chosen the first haircut, cut your man with 1 attachment all over his head from the back of the head to the crown, for example 12 mm. When you finish this stage, you need to smooth out the transition lines, making them shorter at the temples and at the back of the head.

To do this, change the nozzle to 1 number less and cut from the back of the head to the protrusion on the back of the head, take the next nozzle and cut 3-5 mm from the back of the head with a number another 3 mm less.

What remains are transitions or shading, as well as the area above the ears and edging. This is simply a description of the entire process, which we will further analyze in detail and step by step.

How should the machine go?

The machine moves easily in a straight line without sticking to the head or making roundings, with light sliding movements from bottom to top. In this case, the movement goes in a straight line, with a pull towards you - this allows you to make transitions smoother.

In this case, the fit is made not by the tip of the machine, but by the place where the cut will take place, i.e. with the entire nozzle, passing the entire strand through the nozzle.

How to hold the typewriter?

Think about where it will be plugged in so that it can easily reach your model.

Hold the machine so that only your hand is movable, and not your entire arm, because... otherwise she will get tired of you quickly.

Try it, which one is more convenient for you? Hold tightly and place your index finger on it or otherwise, find the most comfortable position.

How to cut and with what attachment?

The nozzles we use go from largest to smallest. On the back of the nozzle is written not only the number, but also the length that it cuts in the photo - 1.

Start with the longest one and work your way down to the shortest length, i.e. from 12 mm to 3.

If you cut without a nozzle, you will end up with a haircut or a zero.

An important nuance is the handle, which is on the side of machine 2 in the photo; it moves the blade, which allows you to save another 0.5 cm of length, a very necessary regulator for beginners, so as not to cut off too much.

Move the lever and see how the machine behaves, you will see the blade extend or retract, use this mechanism for experiments.

The simplest haircut using a clipper attachment, for beginners who are cutting their hair for the first time.

Before you start cutting your hair, read the article and watch all the videos, this will help you understand how to place the clipper, how to move it and what result you will get in the end.

We always work from the largest nozzle to the smallest so that it is possible to correct errors.

We cut with a clipper on dry hair.

Instructions for cutting with a clipper:

So that you understand which zone is cut and how, look at the photo, here on the mannequin all the hair is divided into 3 zones.
But since we are working with beginners, this theoretical course is for those who have completed at least 1 haircut, the rest can skip and move on.

We divide the haircut into 3 parts, each part is equal to the width of the machine in height and blade.

  • The area from the edge of growth to the protruding bone is the width of the machine, place it sideways and you will understand how wide it will turn out.
  • The area above the ears and the back of the head is also the width of the machine.
  • Upper from the temples to the crown.
    This is important to understand and see when cutting; each zone, starting from the bottom, is cut by changing the nozzle to one less, namely:
  • -1 - 3 mm
  • -2 - 6 mm
  • -3 - 9 mm or more.
  • To get your bearings, hold the comb and help yourself to maintain a straight line in height.

Why is this?

To understand, when you master the first basics, understand the zones, places of transition from one zone to another, and also master shading and transitions - this information will help you know the sizes.

For newbies:

We cut everything with a 12mm nozzle:

We lead by leaning against the head in a smooth line, without pressing or jerking. Carefully insert the nozzle into the hair from the hair growth and bring it up, slightly pushing it towards you, moving it in a straight line upward.

Important: the entire plane of the nozzle rests against the head.

  1. Make sure that the wire does not fall on your face; to do this, place it on your hand or simply move it away. So we go through the whole head.
  2. When the main part of the hair is removed and you have drawn each line from the edge several times, check for antennae - these are individual hairs sticking out that have not been trimmed. To do this, constantly comb the client. Go over the head again, cutting off the antennae.
  3. If you see that there are places where the hair grows at an angle, comb again and go exactly these places against the hair growth, at an angle. This is required for cutting the temporal area or at the base of the skull.
  4. The simpler the haircut and the faster it ends, the better.

  6. Then remove the nozzle and make an edging; for more experienced ones, we go through the lowest zone with a height of 3, the middle one - 6 mm.
  7. The edging is done like this:

  • It is necessary to make the shape of the temples, a corner, beveled or straight, lean it upside down with a machine - it will be straight or at the desired angle. We do the same for a guy or a man.
  • Comb your haircut thoroughly and check to see if there are any antennae left. If the client demands a shorter one, go through it again with a smaller nozzle.
  • For beginners, that's all.

  • For the more experienced, who have mastered the zones, it is necessary to make shading in the transition areas using thinning scissors. If there are none at home, then leave them without information.
  • It is important to position the comb correctly when shading, and also move only the lower part of the scissors. Move the comb from below slightly upward, with the pull towards you. Repeat in each place information.

A cut is a transition from longer to short hair; the smoother it is, the more neat and well-groomed the haircut looks. It is done with ordinary scissors or thinning scissors, or can be done with a machine.

When performing shading, it is important to correctly position the comb to the child’s head at an angle, and not lean it against it and move it slowly, while cutting off the hair that falls on the head of the comb.

Haircut with scissors

You need: scissors, clipper, comb, spray with water.

For cutting with scissors, it is important to moisten the hair; for a simple haircut, select 1 control strand in the crown area and cut all the hair along it.

  • We move from the top of the head in a circle, take thin strands with a pull, when choosing strands, our hand rests on the client’s head, and the palm itself slightly moves away from the head.
  • We cut, each time grabbing the cut strand and a new one to align it to the standard. You can cut it with an even cut, perpendicular to the selected strand, or you can cut it with cloves. Straight cuts can also be made with a machine, if you do not have scissors, but do have a machine.
  • So we move from the top of the head to the area above the ears.
  • If you have a machine and you plan to trim the back of your head with it, then select the desired nozzle number, for example 6 mm, and process the area above the ears and the back of your head to the lower occipital area.
  • We remember the 3 zones and work on the middle zone and then the lower one.

    All that remains is to do mixing and shading, as well as edging and whiskey using a machine as described above.

  • We check our work, take any strand and pull the next one to it, visually check that there are no protruding hairs.
  • The haircut is ready.
